a big thank you to all of my clients that supported my business in 2013! it was a great year and i loved seeing so many new and familiar faces! it means so much to me to be able to do what i love, and obviously i wouldn’t be able to do it without all of you!

i’m very excited to see what 2014 brings. more of that info coming soon! one thing is for sure, i hope to catch on the oodles of blogging i neglected to do this fall! for now, here’s the best of 2013!

“i take the most adorable pictures”. that’s what mckenna said after i snapped a picture of her. i’m pretty sure she wanted to be in every single shot. unfortunately for her, we wanted to do a few engagement pictures of her daddy and amy too! i was flattered when amy called me from colorado to schedule a session for when they were visiting family in michigan. i can’t wait for their wedding next october!

here are some people near and dear to my heart. this is my little sister theresa and her fiance nick. they are getting married this september. i am honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding and couldn’t be happier for them!

i looked for a few sister quotes to sum up how i feel about my sisters and these were my faves:

“a sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.”
“sisters by blood. friends by choice.”
“a sister is somebody who knows everything about you and loves you anyway.”
“sisters are like stars. you can’t always see them, but you know they are there.”

i had the pleasure of photographing millie and jordan’s wedding at the new river raisin banquet center in downtown monroe. it was a beautiful wedding and i was honored to be there!
