i love elizabeth park for seniors. it is both beautiful and has that old charm, which is probably the reason why it is one of my most requested locations. i will not lie though that i was super excited when brianna told me she wanted to do part of her session in her backyard (which overlooks the detroit river) and some in downtown wyandotte. i love the challenge of getting creative in new locations!

thomas is my first senior boy of the summer! i wasn’t sure how doing all of his pictures at the high school was going to work, but i ended up loving it!

one beautiful senior girl after another. they just keep coming! i do have a few boys coming your way soon!

i am up late burning the midnight oil, determined to get this beautiful girl’s sneak peak up before i went to bed. so, here i am at 1am with a sleeping baby in my left arm, typing one-handed.

danielle is an airport high senior. my second this week! she is as sweet as she is beautiful.

the lovely katie is my very first senior from ida high school! we had a great time at her session this morning!

you may recognize this girl!  morgan is my senior rep this year and we did a pre-senior session back in april. morgan wanted to switch things up a little  for this session so she decided to try blonde curly hair! she is beautiful either way and has a great smile! it’s a good thing because she couldn’t pull off a serious face if her life depended on it! ha! i’m only kidding with you, morgan! thanks so much for all of your help this year! i really appreciate it!

i spoke with jessica and her mom a few times before her session and thought both their names sounded familiar. but then when jessica got out of the car on saturday i thought for sure i had been mistaken. the jessica i remembered was a skin-and-bones, stick-straight, brown, short-haired, cute little girl. then i saw her mom and she looked exactly as i remembered.  jessica completely shocked me! she is now beautiful and so not the little girl i remembered. it took me asking them a few questions before we figured out where i knew them from. i worked at christiancy elementary school in monroe for a few years while i was going back to school to get my bachelors. jessica was in 5th grade there and her mom also worked there at the time. jessica is now going into her senior year at monroe high school, so that must have been 7 years ago (i can do simple math!). lets just say i felt really old on the way home from her session when i figured that out.

i had a great time at greenfield village on wednesday with sydney, her mom, and grandma! i love sydney’s style and how these turned out!

i had an awesome first session back from my maternity leave on saturday. lisa was also my first of many seniors i have coming your way this summer. we had such a great time that it made me so excited for senior season! here’s an extra big share!
