it’s a great feeling to have your entire world sitting in your lap!

i’m not only talking about myself, but jack too. his dinosaurs are his favorite things in the world. he plays with them every single night after dinner. i love the way he backs up into my lap when i am sitting on the floor. it’s like my lap is perfectly made for his little body, and he knows it!

here’s a few more snapshots of him with the dinos:

he likes making them walk off of the coffee table.

he actually has a fourth dinosaur also, but he has a love/hate relationship with it, and last night it was hate!

i hope nobody minds that these photos aren’t portrait quality. i am completely aware that the first one of jack and me is out of focus (not trying to throw my husband under the bus). i have my mommy-goggles on for these though!

i was honored to be invited to photograph katelyn’s bridal shower yesterday! it was a beautiful event, in a beautiful home, on a beautiful day! katelyn was also the most beautiful bride-to-be!

hey children (and dad’s)! mother’s day is just around the corner and pazy’s portraits gift certificates make a great gift for moms! moms love photographs of their children (believe me, i know!). make it an even better present and willingly agree to cheerfully be in the photos! gift certificates are available in any amount and come in custom packaging! you can order them online and they will ship within two business days. mother’s day shopping can be finished without leaving the house! email me at sarah@pazysportraits.com for more details.

i am starting something new here. from now on,  wednesdays are the days i can write about whatever i want. it’s my blog so i make the rules, and the only rule is that i have to include a photo with it. most of these posts, including this first one, will probably be about my boys, john and jack.  but some of them may be about me, my big family, or just life in general. i came up with the name “whatever wednesdays” from my brother, ben, and his fiance, jessica. they call wednesday night, “whatever wednesdays” because it’s ben’s night that he eats up all the leftovers, which may be from 6 different meals throughout the week. thanks guys!

john and jack went to my session with me on saturday. we walked around the beach for a while, played on the playground, and then they disappeared during katelyn and jeff’s engagement session. john is such a great daddy to jack. these photos make me all sappy and i look at them about ten times a day. i am thinking of framing a few of them.

i am so blessed or lucky, whichever you call it, to have such a wonderful family! some guys you look at and wonder what kind of dads they will make, with john i knew before i married him that he would be the best dad in the world!

i am so happy to be doing something that i love doing, and even happier to know that i will have all these photos documenting jack’s childhood when he’s all grown-up!

it may not be summer yet, but it sure felt like it today. i met katelyn and jeff at sterling state park for some beach photos. the weather was perfect, so perfect that they even went into the water for a few.

i had a hard time choosing which ones to put in here! thanks for a great time tonight both of you!

of a man named brady…ok, these kids are not all brothers and sisters. the collage did remind me of the brady bunch though. these are my nieces and nephews and their aunt, anne-marie. they all wanted their pictures taken on easter, so i threw them into this collage since the photos are kind of boring and not much creativity went into them. (sorry guys, your parents specifically asked for headshots to go on the fridge.) we did have a great time doing them though.

here’s a cute one of anne-marie and madelyn:

and while i had everything out, i did a family photo for my brother’s great-looking family.

and then i thought, hey john, jack, and i are looking kind of spiffy with it being easter and all, maybe we should attempt the family portrait again, and voila!

we got a keeper! i guess bringing my camera paid off. my website photo has now been replaced. yay!

i brought my camera along to easter brunch at my parents yesterday, so this week is going to be niece and nephew over load. we’ll start with sophia, jack’s girl, who of course looks gorgeous!

meet sweet little levi! he is 6 months old and makes the most adorable faces. his mom told me prior to the session that he couldn’t sit up very well yet, well check him out!

he looks like such a little man dressed up in his easter outfit!

i love the tongue sticking out!

i hope you enjoy your sneak peak and thanks for welcoming me into your home yesterday. have a great easter!

here is another sample of a birth announcement that i can customize for you after your shoot. i have many boy and girl ones to choose from.

i can also do wedding save-the-dates, birthday invites, graduation announcements, baptism or first communion thank-yous, etc…

i am pretty sure that i attract adorable kids, especially six-month old girls with big hair bows, (which i love by the way!). check out the blue eyes on these siblings!

thanks, “t” family for having me over today! it was so nice to meet your beautiful family. i hope you enjoy the sneak peak!
