Archive for July, 2009

this post barely made it in july, but as promised i wanted to introduce the fabulous christmas cards i will be offering my clients this year.

after days of contemplation, i decided on two different sets, so there is sure to be a favorite card for your family.

first off is the sugar plum collection:

and then the sleighbells collection:

decisions, decisions! i told you they were fabulous. :)

october and november sessions are starting to fill up, so contact me soon if you want to get in.

…bah bah baah! you never heard that before, right karolyn?

karolyn wanted something different for her senior portraits. i am honored that she thinks i am different, i think i am anyways?  no, i am definitely honored!

her favorite place since she has been a little girl has been greenfield village. i knew instantly that it would be an awesome location for senior pictures. there’s the saw mill, the covered the bridge, the carousel, the flowers, the old houses, i could go on and on.

and it doesn’t hurt that karolyn is gorgeous and has great style. check her out…

this next one with the hat reminds me of julia roberts in pretty woman, when she is all dressed up in the polka-dot dress.

look at those eyes!

i know, right! this could easily be her modeling portfolio instead of her senior portraits! (i wonder if i would get a finder’s fee for discovering her??)

i am so glad you found me karolyn! have a great senior year!

congratulations to my brother ben and my new sister-in-law jessica! i photographed their wedding last night and wanted to get one of my favorite photos up on the blog before the gift opening this afternoon.

stay tuned for more later!

andrea and daniel are my senior reps this year. i will be looking for senior reps for next year. if you or somebody know may be interested please send an email my way. being a rep involves an extra shoot in the spring, your regular shoot in late summer or early fall, passing out rep cards, and getting free senior photos. i will take one girl and one guy and it doesn’t matter which school they are from. the only qualification is that they must be out-going and like getting their picture taken.

now back to andrea and daniel.

andrea is a sideline and competitive cheerleader.

daniel is the starting short-stop and quarterback.

together they make a pretty cute couple!

here’s andrea cheering for daniel!

and now daniel cheering for andrea!

thanks both of you!

as i promised here are a few more of tyler’s senior portraits done on the ball fields.

in case you couldn’t tell, tyler is a catcher!

and also a running back!

thanks tyler!

this little cutie has three big brothers looking out for her. i pity any guy that wants to ask her out in high school! ;)

so big!

a lady can only be a lady for so long before she has to throw some dirt!

and here’s a few with the big guys!

thanks “m” family! i hope you like your sneak peak!

i am still alive. i can’t believe it has been a week since i have posted. i have had 3 sessions in the past three days and am now playing catch up. so, look for lots of blog posts today. i also have my brother’s wedding on friday, and yes, i am photographing it.

i got to hang out with the grant family on sunday. here’s the two people who started it all:

and their four children:

and now the whole, fun group:

thanks everybody!

hello there! i just wanted to let my blog readers know that i am completely filled up for july and august and won’t be taking on any more sessions until september.

it is not too early to start thinking about christmas photos! october and november will get booked up very fast and i am going to be offering some fabulous christmas cards, so book early!

and because i hate to post without a photo (and i have really slacked on taking any of my own child), here is some newborn adorableness!

i mean come on! do you think two parents deserve to have three kids this beautiful? i could see one or two, but do all three of them have to be so gosh darn cute! on top of that, they were so well behaved and all have such fun personalities!

here’s nicholas! he played shy at first but before too long was yelling, “take a picture of me on the monkey bars!”

i don’t think i could have taken a bad photo of amanda! she is gorgeous and so photogenic. i could have photographed her all day!

and lastly, sweet little alaina. she was such a mommy and daddy’s girl until the end of the session. then she was all over the place!

three different colors of eyes, and of course, all three equally stunning!

here’s the whole good looking group!

thanks “l” family! i had so much fun hanging out with you all last night!

hanging out with braxton last night was exactly like hanging out with jack. first of all they are both adorable blondies (in my unbiased opinion!) and they are both fast! braxton kept running and i kept chasing after him! when i finally caught up to him (a.k.a. when he finally slowed down) i got some awesome photos. we met at hidden lake gardens in tipton and it was gorgeous there. i love when my clients come up with new location ideas!

check out these beautiful green eyes…

thanks amanda, tony, and braxton. i hope you like the sneak peak!
