kim was my first of what i hope to be many seniors from trenton high school. she was a great one to start with. she has an infectious (i had to look that word up to make sure i spelled it right) smile. i really couldn’t picture her in a bad mood. she’s one of those people that can’t pull off the serious face, because she is too smiley! i love it!

i love the background in this next one. it reminds me of a watercolor painting.

see what i mean about the smile? she is just happy! happy and pretty! a great combination!

thanks kim! i hope you love your sneak peak! have an awesome senior year!

this almost two year old was a dream to photograph! (i wonder if she could teach jack a lesson or two!)

this first photo could make me smile when i am in the worst of moods!

i love her reflection in this one!

one with gramma and papa! i love how little it makes her look!

time for a wardrobe change!

i caught this last one with mom when we were all finished. i couldn’t resist!

thanks “s” family!  i can’t wait to show you the rest of them!

miss samantha was all decked out for her 6 month photo shoot. it’s crazy how fast they grow. just 6 short months ago, she looked like this.

after doing some of samantha up against my backdrops we headed over to heinz park for some with mom and dad!

don’t they make such a cute family!

thanks guys! i can’t wait to see her at 1, but hopefully it doesn’t go by quite as fast!

gina is my first senior from s.m.c.c. in monroe. we did these pictures in grandparents backyard along the river raisin. it was a beautiful setting, perfect for pictures!

thanks gina and michelle! i had a great time with you both this week! have a great senior year.

i have known andrew and amy-jo both for a very long time. andrew is my cousin who i use to baby-sit for as a little boy. amy is my little sister’s best friend, who i’ve had some great memories with (right, mary-lou?). i photographed their wedding for them last weekend and wanted to get the sneak peak up by today, because i know they are coming home from their honeymoon.

congrats andrew and amy!

if you have baby fever (raising hand!), please step away from the computer. what you are about to see is extra sweet and very cuddly.

awake newborns can often look awkward, but not claire, she gave me eye contact!

i luuv me some back wrinkles. (just on babies though, not on me!)

i also love newborns’ wrinkly lips and that my macro lens can capture such little details!

please do not attempt this at home!

thanks h family! your daughter is an absolute doll! :)

jack had a very tough decision to make on sunday. he had to pick which pumpkin out of papa’s pumpkin patch he wanted for his front porch this year.

his mom and and dad tried to encourage him to go big, but he really liked this little one.

he is pretty cute, so papa ended up letting him take two!

i dunno how that squash for dinner sneaked in there.

papa helping him so he doesn’t trip!

one of my favorite little guys is about to turn 1! the last 6 months just seemed to fly by! you can see his 6 month photos here. he is still just as cute and has as much personality! he really made me work for these photos! it was well worth it though!

getting his tummy!

getting your picture taken is such hard work!

i thought about editing out the drool in this last one, but i couldn’t bring myself to do it. i love it!

happy birthday levi!

i did a photo-swap tonight (i guess i should say last night since it’s 1am) with rachel of august tea photograph. we all had a blast in downtown mount clemens, walked around, got some dinner, the little boys played, the big boys, (rachel husband’s tony and john) talked computers and beer, rachel and i talked cameras and kids. both jack and rachel’s son, caleb, don’t let their mother’s take their picture very often, but did great for somebody else (how typical, right?)!

anyways, enough chat! here’s the super adorable family!

i told you they are adorable! now, head over to rachel’s blog, if you would like to see my family’s sneak peak. they are awesome! thanks so much, rachel! i think we started a new tradition!
