this cutie pie decided she was going to pick picture day of all days to be extra serious. i have heard from so many people how smiley is. well, she was not about to smile yesterday, and there was nothing, mom, dad, or i could do to change her mind. luckily for her (and mom and dad) she is super cute without smiling!

the whole good-looking family all decked out in their christmas best! i’m so happy i got to take their first family portrait! this may count as a little smile. we can thank john for that!

thanks so much you guys! next time john is going to dress up as a clown! ;)

we had to get a few photos for the christmas card!

it seems like just yesterday that i took janie’s newborn photos and here she is 3 months old already!

i have two more sessions waiting to see their sneak peaks, but i wanted to update my faithful blog readers on a few things.

first and foremost happy thanksgiving! i am very thankful for all of my clients who have helped make my first year so successful. i am also thankful for my wonderful family, my friends, the two turkey dinners that i am eating today, my house that i love, that i am going to p.f. changs for lunch tomorrow, and especially for my stock pile of peppermint tootsie roll pops, which are my favorite thing about christmas season. i am definitely blessed!

now back to business…i am completely booked for 2009 and am now booking for 2010. book now, because i am starting to get quite a few requests for january and february.

i have also been getting a ton of newborn requests. just a reminder that i like to do newborns within the first week of them being born. this means it is very important that you book ahead of time so i can put you down. i then adjust as necessary whether the baby comes early or late.  unfortunately, i have been turning people down when they call me and their baby is already a week or two old. this makes me sad because i know how important those newborn pictures are and how fast a baby grows out of the newborn stage.  i can come to your house for newborn sessions (any session for that matter), so it is relaxed and not stressful. i know how hard it is for a new mom to get out of the house.

also, christmas card orders must be placed by next saturday, december 5th. you can view samples here: christmas cards. if you had a session anytime in 2009 and would like your gallery uploaded again to order christmas cards, just shoot me an email and i will make it happen.

don’t know what to get mom or grandma for christmas! a pazy’s portraits gift card makes a super gift and it can be used any time in 2010. gift cards

stay tuned for a contest coming soon and also lots of changes coming to my poorly neglected website! 2010 will bring new collections, a new logo, and much more! so exciting!

i of course must end this update with a picture. i actually took jack out to do his 2 year old photos over the weekend. gasp! jack hardly ever gets his picture taken because mom is too busy taking pictures of other people’s kids. here’s a preview of them. many more to come!

i love him so much, drool on his shirt and all!

this little peanut decided to come a month and half early. she weighed just over 4lbs when she was born and is now up past 7lbs. she is smaller than most newborns i have done!

i love how alert she is in this one!

i think her mom may like hats and headbands!

here’s one of big sister.

these pictures are grandma’s christmas present. grandma wanted traditional portraits of her two grandchildren up against a white backdrop. i think we got what she wanted.

this next one is my absolute favorite!

“g” loved getting her picture taking. she even wanted me to come to lunch with them afterwards.

this little guys is just a week older than my jack and i could definitely tell they are the same age. we had to work for these pictures, but they turned out so cute! i love his curls!

i love this last  one.  she was giving me some attitude! (sorry dad! :) )

i had a great time with these three boys and their mom and dad over the weekend. they were all decked out for christmas, from head-to-toe!

they all can play some serious piano!

waiting for santa:

the whole happy, good-looking family!

i told them to look excited to see santa in this last one! i love the little guy’s expression!

thanks “b” family!

i don’t even know what to say. every time i looked at my camera screen during this shoot, i am pretty sure i either said, “oh my gosh” or “awe”! i can’t believe she is 6 months old already. it seems like i just took mom’s maternity pictures and then newborn pictures and now she is sitting up and giggling to rihanna’s song, “umbrella”!

she looks like a doll!

i love that you can see her tooth in this next one!

thanks deb and adam! i can’t wait to chase after her in may for her 1 year pictures!

i’m pretty sure this session took place on what was probably the last super sunny day of the year. it was very bright and these cute cousins made me work for their pictures. i woke up the next day and felt like i did the most intense work-out the day before and it took me a while to realize what it was from. (i guess that shows how out of shape i am;)

beautiful sisters!

the whole family!

thanks everybody! i had fun and got a work-out all in one!

i wanted to eat this little girl up. all these newborns are definitely getting to me. she was so sweet and cuddly. i thought i was doomed after my first newborn being so perfectly sleepy this week, but little “g” was a doll!

i love the hand-knit christmas hat and think i may need to add one of these to my hat collection soon!

mom collects bunny rabbits and a friend gifted her with this next hat. now little “g” fits into her collection!

thanks “m” family! she is beautiful! congrats!
