i love it when my clients show up with fun accessories! brock’s mom got this adorable dinosaur hat from etsy (my favorite place to shop!) for him to model. she also brought grandma’s cowgirl hat and boots which we definitely had to incorporate!
there had to be a first session after coming home from vacation and i’m so glad lola was it. she is 8lbs, 1oz of pure newborn perfection. i could have held her and smelled her sweet baby smell all day. she was two weeks old for our session yesterday and really took it easy on me. i usually do newborns within the first 10 days, but sometimes it just doesn’t work…lola didn’t seem to mind the wait at all.
it’s very rare that we get to go outside for my newborn sessions. it seems like either the weather is too cold, it’s rainy, or the mosquitoes are awful. well, sunday was 90 degrees and sunny and i was so excited to bring mom and dad outside with lola! i love how these turned out.

this gorgeous baby was such a sweetheart for our session yesterday that i wanted to put her in my pocket and bring her home with me! i think mom and dad may have missed her though…they seem pretty smitten! can you blame them?
