i have been working with a fabulous designer who custom designed these birth announcements for pazy’s portraits. i love each and every one of them and would have a hard time choosing if i was a new mom!

newborn sessions can be penciled in months in advance to make sure i get you in as soon as possible after you have your baby.

i have a new baby! (all my sisters are like i knew it, but i am not talking about that kind of baby. we have an on-going game in my family guessing who will be pregnant next!) my new baby came in the mail yesterday. i am now the proud owner of a canon 24-70L lens. i am very excited. i took it out for a test run last night (unfortunately after jack went to bed) and got some shots of the beautiful flowers in our front yard.

PINIMAGE

flowers are much easier to photograph than jack is!

i am so happy that spring is here. it is so nice to be outside with my camera and not have numb hands.

nikki and i have been planning this shoot since january, so i was really looking forward to it. she wanted some fun photos of her and her daughter, gianna and i definitely think we got what we were after. it was great timing with mother’s day being next weekend. i knew i was going to like nikki instantly when she got out of her car and was wearing a dress i have. only mine is orange, because i don’t have beautiful skin like nikki does and cannot pull of a white dress. anyhow, she has a great style and gianna is so pretty and really looks up to her mom!

then gianna’s dad meet us for a few downtown monroe. he’s a dj for tower 98 in monroe, so you may recognize him! 🙂 i think we captured some fun, non-traditional family portraits.

PINIMAGEPINIMAGE

yes, that gratiffi is in an alley in monroe. who would have thunk!

PINIMAGE

thanks nikki, aaron, and gianna! i had a great time last night wondering around downtown monroe with you guys! hope you love your sneak peak!

  • Nikki Pancone - The sneak peak is amazing! It’s a teaser knowing how many photo’s you snapped. The anticipation is exciting though. We really enjoyed our time with you. It could not have been a more perfect evening with the weather the way it was! Thank you so much for your time.ReplyCancel

  • Christina - These are awesome, Sarah. Mom and daughter are both beautiful!ReplyCancel

it’s a great feeling to have your entire world sitting in your lap!

PINIMAGE

i’m not only talking about myself, but jack too. his dinosaurs are his favorite things in the world. he plays with them every single night after dinner. i love the way he backs up into my lap when i am sitting on the floor. it’s like my lap is perfectly made for his little body, and he knows it!

here’s a few more snapshots of him with the dinos:

PINIMAGE

he likes making them walk off of the coffee table.

PINIMAGE

he actually has a fourth dinosaur also, but he has a love/hate relationship with it, and last night it was hate!

i hope nobody minds that these photos aren’t portrait quality. i am completely aware that the first one of jack and me is out of focus (not trying to throw my husband under the bus). i have my mommy-goggles on for these though!

  • Jill Vajcner - He looks so happy and peaceful!!!!! 🙂 His hair is getting so long~meant to comment on the last set of pictures at the beach!!! he’s so grown up 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Nikki Pancone - These are the best kind of pictures.. focus or not they are the memories that will build a foundation for Jack to look back on one day! Totally awesome 🙂ReplyCancel
